The lead-up to the new 992 generation of the Porsche 911 has been long, but the wait is about to pay off. At our recent firsthand experience with a prototype of the new sports car, we learned that the production model will officially make its debut next month. Porsche also shared the launch cadence for the 911 lineup. In the United States, it will begin in summer 2019, when the first models arrive in dealerships as 2020 models.
The Los Angeles auto show at the end of November marks the new 2020 911’s public debut. Although we’ve already seen nearly undisguised prototypes of the car and know a lot of information about it, this occasion should provide even more official details. Pricing, which may be revealed at that time, is expected to start somewhere between $90,000 and $100,000.
