Development of the Mercedes-AMG One has suffered delays, meaning it won’t arrive until 2020.
Since it debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show over a year ago, Mercedes-AMG has been quiet about the upcoming One hypercar. Recently, AMG boss Tobias Moers confirmed that customer deliveries for the F1-powered hypercar have been delayed by nine months due to development issues, meaning it won’t arrive until 2020. That also means it will arrive after its main rival, the Aston Martin Valkyrie, which is slated to launch next year. It should be worth the wait, however, because Mercedes-AMG is using the time to make the One lighter and even more powerful than initial targets suggested.
